This Privacy Policy explains how Orbit Info Tech (OiT), operating the 73PiXEL brand from Muscat, Sultanate of Oman (“OiT”, “73PiXEL”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal data when you visit 73pixel.com, contact us, use our support or customer services, purchase or activate a product, or use software that connects to our services.

1. Who We Are

Orbit Info Tech is the data controller for personal data described in this Policy unless we expressly act as a processor on behalf of a customer under a Data Processing Addendum.

Privacy contact: info@73pixel.com.

2. Personal Data We Collect

  • Identity and contact data: name, company, country, email address, and contact preferences.
  • Account and transaction data: customer identifiers, products, plans, license status, subscription dates, invoices, tax-related details, refunds, and transaction references. Complete payment-card details are handled by Freemius and its payment providers and are not stored by us.
  • License and product data: license key identifiers, activation status, site URL, WordPress and PHP versions, product version, installation identifiers, and related technical events, subject to product configuration and consent requirements.
  • Support data: ticket content, messages, diagnostic reports you choose to provide, attachments, site-health information, and troubleshooting history.
  • Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device information, server logs, timestamps, referring pages, security events, and interactions with our website or emails.
  • Marketing data: consent status and communication preferences. We do not send marketing messages without a lawful basis or required consent.

3. How We Collect Data

We collect data directly from you, automatically through the website and product systems, from Freemius in connection with purchases and licensing, from service providers that support delivery and security, and from publicly available or authorized business sources where lawful.

4. Purposes and Legal Bases

We process personal data to:

  • provide products, downloads, licenses, updates, customer accounts, and support;
  • process and administer orders, subscriptions, cancellations, refunds, and taxes through Freemius;
  • authenticate users, prevent fraud, protect systems, and investigate abuse;
  • communicate service notices, security updates, license information, and support responses;
  • improve reliability, documentation, compatibility, and user experience;
  • comply with accounting, tax, legal, and regulatory obligations; and
  • send marketing communications where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law.

Depending on the context and applicable law, our legal bases include performance of a contract, steps requested before entering a contract, compliance with legal obligations, consent, and legitimate interests such as operating, securing, and improving our business without overriding your rights.

5. Freemius and Payment Processing

Freemius acts as merchant of record and reseller for applicable purchases and handles checkout, payment processing, invoicing, taxes, subscriptions, license delivery, and related customer functions. Freemius processes data under its own customer-facing privacy notices and, for vendor data, under its vendor terms and data-processing arrangements. Review the Freemius Privacy Policy for details.

6. Service Providers and Recipients

We disclose personal data only as reasonably necessary to providers supporting our Services, including:

  • Freemius: checkout, merchant-of-record services, licensing, subscriptions, customer portal, and transaction administration;
  • Hostinger: website and email hosting and related infrastructure;
  • Mailgun: transactional email delivery;
  • Automattic/Akismet: spam filtering where enabled;
  • professional advisers, auditors, insurers, authorities, or courts where required or legally justified; and
  • a successor in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or asset transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it for third-party behavioral advertising without the required notice and consent.

7. International Data Transfers

Some providers may process data outside Oman or your country. Where required, we assess transfer risks and use contracts, standard contractual clauses, adequacy mechanisms, or other lawful safeguards. Details of key providers are maintained in our Subprocessor List.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the stated purposes, including:

  • account, license, and transaction records for the active relationship and any legally required accounting or tax period;
  • support records for up to 24 months after closure unless a longer period is needed for security, warranty, dispute, or legal reasons;
  • transactional email logs generally for short operational periods according to provider and account settings;
  • security logs for a period proportionate to threat detection and investigation; and
  • marketing data until consent is withdrawn or the data is no longer needed.

We may retain minimal records necessary to document requests, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, or comply with law. Data may be anonymized and retained where it can no longer identify an individual.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature and risk of the data, including access controls, encryption in transit, restricted credentials, backups, logging, updates, and service-provider review. No system is completely secure, and you should not send passwords, payment-card details, private keys, or unnecessary sensitive data through support channels.

10. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, updating, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You may also opt out of marketing at any time. Rights can be limited where processing is required for contract performance, security, legal claims, tax or accounting duties, or other lawful grounds.

To exercise a right, email info@73pixel.com. We may verify your identity and will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may also complain to the competent personal-data protection authority in Oman or the authority in your place of residence where applicable.

11. Omani Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law issued by Royal Decree 6/2022 and its Executive Regulation issued by Ministerial Decision 34/2024, as amended, together with other applicable laws.

12. EEA, UK, and Other Regional Rights

If regional privacy laws apply to you, including the GDPR or UK GDPR, you may have additional rights and may contact your local supervisory authority. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may request information about the balancing assessment. Where consent is the basis, withdrawal does not affect processing already performed lawfully.

13. Children

The Services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data without legally valid authorization. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data improperly.

14. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. Non-essential analytics or marketing technologies will be used only with any consent required by law.

15. Product Telemetry

Where a 73PiXEL product offers optional usage tracking or diagnostic sharing, the product will provide appropriate notice and controls. We will not treat optional telemetry as mandatory unless it is strictly necessary to provide a requested hosted feature, licensing function, security function, or transaction.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice for material changes where required.
